Finding the perfect gift for the man in your life can be tricky. That’s why I’ve compiled this list of unique gift ideas for your husband. These husband gift ideas aren’t just for Christmas. They can be used for any special event such as his birthday, your anniversary, Father’s Day, and Valentine’s Day. Or just to let him know how special he is in your life.
One of my favorite parts of the holidays is finding the perfect gift for everyone on my list. I collect gift ideas throughout the year so that I know just what to get hubby for his birthday, our anniversary, Christmas, or even just because.
I hope you find the perfect gift on this list or that it at least gives you some inspiration when shopping.
I’ve organized this post into several sections to make it easier for you to find the perfect idea.
Kitchen & Food Gifts:
This gift is perfect for any guy who’s into trying new flavors. Or likes that smokey flavor.
This one comes with 4 different types of wood chips and can be used with a dome to smoke foods as well.
This one is more simple and just sits on top of a glass to smoke his favorite beverage.
Does he like coffee and wine? If yes, then he might enjoy some wine barrel coffee. These coffee beans are aged up to two months in actual wine barrels to give the coffee delightful unique flavors.
This set includes a Maple Bacon Aioli, Maple Bacon Onion Jam, and Boozy Bacon Barbecue Sauce. (The BBQ Sauce would go great with this recipe for BBQ shredded Chicken lettuce wraps.)
If your guy likes spicy food he may enjoy making his hot sauce from scratch. This set comes with everything he’ll need to make 3 custom bottles.
With this kit, he can make mozzarella, ricotta, burrata, mascarpone, and goat cheese. Yum!
A bottle of his favorite liquor-
This is a good one since you know it’ll get used. Some have a variety as well, so you could mix things up by going a step up or trying a different strength. For example, if he likes Maker’s Mark maybe get him Maker’s Mark 46.
This mug will keep his drink at the perfect hot temperature, down to the last drop. Wait- maybe you need one too.
You can freeze this bowl, so it’ll keep his ice cream nice and cold.
Speaking of ice cream, this mini ice cream maker will help him to create his own custom frozen treats. Pair it with some waffle cones and his favorite toppings to create a custom gift basket.
If you know which grill he’d prefer, go for it! If not, then a gift card will do the trick with this one. Check out Home Depot, Lowes, and Menards.
This one by Dyna-Glo has a side burner, giving more cooking space, and has a smoker box that can be used when you want. It’s a nice option if he wants to try a smoker grill without the commitment of a pellet grill since those seem to be more expensive than a propane or charcoal grill.
Favorite Fandom Cookbook-
If you aren’t big into gaming, then you’ll also want to find out which version he wants.
There are 2 versions of the PlayStation 5- one that can use game discs and one that is just digital. The same thing with Xbox- the Series X can use discs, but the Series S is just digital.
The digital-only versions are generally lower priced, but they may have more competition when restocks occur.
PlayStation 5- This one does use game discs.
PlayStation 5 Digital Edition- This one is just digital and doesn’t use discs.
Available at: Amazon
Series S: The digital version that doesn’t use physical game discs.
Series X: This one has more storage space and can use physical discs.
If you don’t know what games he likes, the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will give him access to a bunch of games that can be played on the console or PC.
If your guy is into 3D gaming, this is a nice option. And really, it can be fun for the whole family. You can set it up to cast to your TV so that everyone can see what the gamer sees.
And bonus- it’s actually in stock as of the time of writing this.
These will vary depending on your man’s preferences. But what good is a game system with no games? You might be able to find a console bundled with a game or two. Some retailers have found this to be a way to prevent scalpers from buying up all of their stock.
Make sure you know what gaming platform he uses the most. You can also encourage him to create a wish list to make this one even easier on yourself.
Super nifty and he could use it for work or at home. He can even save all his notes digitally so you don’t have to deal with extra paper clutter.
This charger can charge 2 devices at the same time, plus it’s solar-powered, so you don’t need a wall outlet. It’s perfect for the guy who’s always on the go whether flying for business, camping with the guys, or a trip to the beach with you.
This charging station has ports for 6 devices, so you won’t have to swap out devices all day. It works with smartphones and tablets and will help minimize the clutter of charging cables everywhere.
Games & Entertainment:
This is a fun tabletop finger soccer game. They sell a classic version but also take custom orders.
You whole family can enjoy having tournaments playing Biñho during the holidays or some downtime while waiting for dinner to be ready.
Telestrations is like Pictionary meets the telephone game. You get a word or phrase to sketch out then pass your flipbook to the next person who tries to guess what you drew. Then the next person tries to draw that. It continues until your flipbook returns to you. Then you go through and see how it progressed. As you can imagine, the bigger the group the more room for misinterpretation and the more laughter to be had.
If he’s into golf, a nice set of clubs could make his day. If he already has clubs then some golf accessories would be great, like new golf shoes or clothing. Maybe custom golf balls or tees. Even a drink dispensing club could be fun!
This tabletop game looks like a variation of air hockey. I think it looks really fun and would be great for setting up a little tournament during family gatherings.
Especially if you can find an autographed copy of a book from his favorite author. Check the author’s website, as they’ll often have a link to shop and you can see if they offer signed copies.
If he likes fantasy novels, then I highly recommend Brandon Sanderson. He’s a fantastic author and finished Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time series (and has consulted on the Amazon Prime show of the same name).
Man Crates offer a bunch of themed gift crates related to food, sports, DIY, and more. A little crowbar is sent to help him open the crate and get to the gift inside. Everyone will enjoy watching him put in the effort to open this one. If you want to make it even tougher you can have them wrap the whole crate in duct tape too. Mwahaha!
Every few years my hubby needs a new wallet, and it’s the perfect time to find a great wallet. You can find so many options that you can have personalized on Etsy, like this one where you can add a handwritten message
Big Blanket Co offers huge 10’x10’ blankets. They are so soft and giant- perfect for snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie together. And if your man is super tall, he’ll love having a blanket that actually fits him.
I hope this list gave you some great ideas for the special guy in your life. Do you have any other awesome ideas that I should add?
I love finding unique and fun gifts! And I’m always looking for good ones- a side effect of growing up in a big family. How about you?
