These fall date ideas will help you find fun ways to connect with your guy as the temps drop and the days grow shorter.

Fall dates can be so fun, and these ideas will help you get into the cozy and romantic mood that comes with cool weather and oversized sweaters.

A chill in the air is perfect for snuggling up with your honey.

It’s also a great time to connect as a couple before the holiday season gets into full swing and you’re busy with family and work events.

Grab your PSL and favorite sweater and you’ll be all set for one of these fun date ideas!

1. Cozy Up by the Fire

If you have a fire pit, this is a great date for fall. There’s plenty of time to chat as you roast marshmallows or make smores. Plus, the romantic lighting of the flames and cuddling lend themselves to a more intimate date.

We got these roasting sticks a few years ago, and they make it so easy to get a nice golden brown.

If starting a log fire isn’t your thing, they now make gas fire pits too. They can be easier to turn on and off.

2. Go Stargazing

Grab lots of blankets before making your way out to a spot with clear skies.

For help identifying planets and constellations, try Star Walk 2, a handy stargazing app. It can help you to identify planets, constellations and stars!

If you have a telescope, take turns checking out the moon and any visible planets.

This telescope uses the StarSense App to help you align the the telescope with celestial objects. This is great if you’re a newbie like me!

Depending on your local pumpkin patch, you might be able to take a hayride or enjoy some fresh goodies and apple cider.

Afterwards you can carve your pumpkins together. Be sure to roast the seeds for a yummy snack.

Put on a fun Halloween music playlist to set the mood and mix up some fall mocktails or cocktails.

This fun idea can be done just the two of you, or with a group.

6. Check out a Fall Festival

Autumn seems to be a big time for festivals. Cincinnati has a big Oktoberfest celebration but lots of family farms host their own festivals.

Theme parks also have fun fall events.

A quick search online will help you to find great options in your area.

Whichever one you go to you’ll have fun holding hands while you stroll around and decide whether to grab a funnel cake or check out the crafts first.

7. Go to a Farmer’s Market

This is a great place to get really fresh produce. Grab some yummies for a picnic or veggies to cook a meal together later in the day.

It’s also fun to see what other vendors show up. Crafters, artists, flower farmers with beautiful bouquets.

8. Go to a Haunted House
